A newer, master-planned community

Trinity is a much newer community than New Port Richey proper, developed starting in the late 1980s by ophthalmologist and developer James Gills, and named for Trinity College of Florida. It sits at the point where Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties meet, and includes established neighborhoods like Heritage Springs, Fox Wood, and Longleaf.

Newer construction, different plumbing profile

Because most of Trinity was built from the late 1980s onward, the plumbing profile looks different from older west Pasco neighborhoods: copper and PEX supply lines rather than galvanized, PVC drain lines rather than cast iron. We confirm the relevant jurisdiction before any permitted work, since assuming Pasco County rules apply uniformly across all of Trinity isn't accurate.

A community with real amenities, not just houses

Trinity's master-planned neighborhoods, Heritage Springs, Fox Wood, Longleaf, and others, include shared clubhouses, golf courses, and community pools, each with their own commercial-scale plumbing and water heating needs distinct from the individual homes around them.
